Description
These blades are sintered continuous rim lapidary saw blades.
This means the diamond is mixed with the steel not just plated. The idea of a sintered blade is the metal wears out continuously exposing fresh diamonds to continue cutting. When cutting hard fine grained rocks the blade may glaze over. This happens as the stone isnt coarse enough to wear the metal and expose new diamond. To fix this and sharpen the blade all you need to do is cut a corundum wheel ( such as a wheel off a bench grinder) and it will expose more diamond.
The blades are 495mm in diameter 1.2mm thick
These blades are made from steel making them stronger then some other blades.
Ideal for cutting all rocks and stones.
