Cup burs are used to deburr and round the ends of wire.
Hager & Meisinger manufactures burs that have not only the closest tolerances, but will also maintain those tolerances over time. LYNX burs cut without chatter and will not grab and roll around your workpiece. The fluting on the head is precise and consistent and a special tungsten alloy and careful tempering means these burs retain their sharpness. Features & Maintenance
• Choose a bur with a cup diameter slightly larger than the wire or finding you will be shaping with the bur—we recommend .4mm larger. For example, to use on a wire measuring 1mm (18 ga.), your cup bur should be 1.4mm or 1.5mm.
