This seamless, extruded heavy-wall sterling silver tubing features a hard temper and is
ideal for a larger hinges and for creating custom tube settings. Choose a section of heavy-
wall tubing with an outside diameter about 0.5mm larger than your stone, and enough
thickness to allow you to cut a seat to support the stone. Hard sterling silver is significantly
work-hardened and, though it does not bend readily, it stubbornly holds its shape after
forming; it is ideal for clasps and hinges.
