Description
Chrome oxide (green rouge) Is one of the older original polishes.
It works well on a range of rocks including jade malachite sapphires and many more.
We use this in our tumblers and for slabs as the final Polish.
When using in a vibratory tumbler for rocks make a mix of vinegar and water 50/50 and chrome oxide and the results are amazing. Just make sure there isnt any calcite or similar as the vinegar will dissolve it.
On quartz it gives it a wet look finish.
It is ideal for boulder opal as it wont leave polish in cracks as it washes out easier then other polishes.
Chrome oxide is also used to colour ceramics green.
Comes with a free measuring spoon.
